I have a Blood Parrot (Hybrid) and just moved him to a ten gallon tank from five gallon. I let the ten cycle through for 1 week, this is not a brand new tank has been used for a number of years. He has been in it for 24 hours now and his fins are clamped down and is laying sturnal on the bottom of the tank. I did do a test on the water before I put him in and test came out great, now the amonia levels are just very slight.

Well, the tank is used but I wonder if the media which it relies on for filtration is well cycled. If not, you should remove the fish back to its old tank and then bioseed the ten gallon tank.
Blood Parrots get pretty big so please don't consider the ten gallon his final home.
Increase aeration and look for a hazey water quality that will confirm that the tank was not cycled and ready for population.
Here's the article on bioseeding.

I think if you're easy on the feeding and keep tabs on the nitrogen numbers, and pH (which you did not mention) the fish shouldn't have more trouble, but still, bioseeding the tank might knock the corners off the break in for you.
